1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Drift Exteriors (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By accepting a quote, paying a deposit, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Drift Exteriors is a sole trader business specialising in 3D previsualisation and concept design for interior and exterior spaces. Our work provides visual representations to assist clients in imagining potential designs and outcomes.
All renders, models, and visuals are for conceptual and illustrative purposes only and must not be relied upon for construction, engineering, or structural use.
2. Scope of Services
Our quoted services include the creation of 3D renders, models, and visualisations as described in your project proposal or quote.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our services do not include:

Architectural or engineering documentation

Compliance checks or permit applications

Detailed construction drawings

On-site measurements or supervision
Your quote will specify:

The number of renders or views
-
File formats provided (e.g., JPEG, PNG, video, 3D model)

Number of revision rounds included
Any additional work or revisions requested beyond the agreed scope will be subject to an additional fee.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary for the project, including but not limited to architectural plans, measurements, materials, finishes, and reference images.

Delays, inaccuracies, or errors resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by you are not the responsibility of Drift Exteriors.
​
You acknowledge that all design approvals, building permits, and regulatory compliance remain your sole responsibility or that of your appointed architect, engineer, or builder.
4. Fees and Payment
All quotes are valid for 14 days from the issue date unless otherwise stated.

A 50% deposit is required before work commences, with the remaining balance payable prior to delivery of final high-resolution files.
​
All deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
​
Late payments may delay delivery and may incur additional charges at our discretion.
5. Revisions and Changes
Your quote includes the number of revisions specified. Additional or major design changes not covered in the initial brief will incur an additional charge.

Revisions must be requested within 7 days of receiving draft renders. Delays in providing feedback may affect project timeframes.
6. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timelines are provided as estimates only and may vary based on project complexity, client responsiveness, or external factors beyond our control.

Drift Exteriors will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed deadlines but accepts no liability for delays.
7. Intellectual Property
All 3D renders, models, and visual materials created by Drift Exteriors remain our intellectual property until full payment is received.

Upon full payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the final images and visuals for personal or project-related purposes.
​
You may not resell, alter, redistribute, or use the works for any other project without written consent.
​
Drift Exteriors reserves the right to display completed works in our portfolio, website, and social media for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Liability and Disclaimer
All 3D renders, designs, and visualisations produced by Drift Exteriors are conceptual in nature.

They are not construction documents and should not be used for building, fabrication, or manufacturing purposes.

Drift Exteriors is not a licensed architect, builder, or engineer, and we do not guarantee the structural, regulatory, or practical viability of any visualised concept.

We accept no liability for:

Any loss, damage, or claims arising from reliance on our visuals for construction or manufacturing;

Errors or omissions in information provided by the client; or
-
Differences between rendered images and actual built outcomes.
You agree to seek independent professional advice before commencing any building or renovation based on our visuals.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding all project materials, concepts, and communications, except where disclosure is required by law.
10. Termination
If you terminate the project after work has commenced:

The initial deposit is non-refundable; and

You may be charged for work completed to date based on time and materials.
Drift Exteriors reserves the right to terminate the project at any time if the client breaches these Terms or fails to make payment when due.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the Queensland courts.
12. Acceptance
By approving a quote, making a payment, or instructing Drift Exteriors to proceed, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
